Top coating for Concrete
Does anyone know what sort of product might be available as a top coating for concret where heavy wear may occur. I am looking for something that would hold up to having to move heavy Metal objects across it fairly often. The need for this is mainly to make it "EASIER" to slide the items across the floor. I realize that what ever a person would use would have to be replaced periodically. I am just looking for something that would likely last the longest between re applications.[?]

No NO NO, your thinking of latex. I get them mixed up all the time.0 -
Whatever you use read about it all you can. Don't forget to ask the manufator about how long will it last. Most of the coatings out here only last about 2 to 3 years, the manufactors will tell you five yrs. Do not use any latex coatings. Forget the Supper Deck products and UGL products, I have talked with both of them. Their products look the prettiest and have the most color choices, but don't last. I believe the best you will find is the stuff that is used to coat the floors on dairy farms and have other industrial uses. Check out www.protectyoursurface.com. This maybe the best out there. I think the warrenty is 15 yrs. 0 -
There are many dry and liquid concrete hardeners out there. Try http://www.lmcc.com/products/category.asp#6 0
