it's official! me n ol'lady are the proud owners
of Kinzua Water Service! had the meeting tonight, the ok to go purchase the trucks. i got the drivers in line, and contacts made with enough work to bill 50-60 hours a truck a week. now understand that these things bill 75-95 bucks an hour, from the time the key hits the ignition till you shut it off for the day.
we're projecting first year billing with 2 trucks to be around 400,000 at 50 hours, 611,000 at 70 per week. if we really get going, and can sustain 3 trucks at 70 hours per week, we're looking at 910,000.
We're doing this on a $125,000 investment, meaning that we'll be paid off in just under a year. the investor asked if we'd have a problem with him holding 30% of the company, until he passes, and then give th option to his family to stay involved. (he's 77 years old, honestly looks to be a healthy 50 and tough as nails, working every day at some thing) and asked if I'd be willing to consult on some of his projects and possibly promote some of their land holdings for oil and gas. actually, I'm honored that the guy thinks this much of us. His kid told him "dad, he's unhirable. theY wanted to hire him as my boss, and he turned them down. he's not leaving his deal where he is. he knows too much to pay for it". (I was thinkin that i was sermi retarded, but maybe not!

The long and the short is, as long as oil is above $45 a barrell, we're gonna be in good shape. God anwers prayer, and hard work and loyalty can pay off. now I'm gonna go get about 3 hours of sleep. frac job for my current employer, who 'Owns Me' untill we get our shingle hung..........

Congrats...if you get the opportunity, buy the partner out. Partnerships can be very difficult...especially if the old timer dies and the family gets involved.0 -

'skittery' did die, with a full belly and rolled up in a a warm towel.
with the truck deal, we take water to the rigs to 'drill in', then cement with, take away the 'top water'. (water that comes as they punch through the aquifier), and also remove brine wter, which is a by product of an oil well.
we'll keep ya posted on our progress0
