Bought my dads cool gifts. Radio/flashlight

I'm looking for gifts for my dad and my father in law. I was thinking about getting one-of the hand crank radio flashlights - I thought that they were pretty cool. What do you think or what are some good gifts that you have received? I'm 3000 miles away so I can't go do anything with him. Thanks.
