Mercury Spills
It seems like every week there is a mercury spill here around Columbus. They just broke in with a story about a spill in a local courthouse and the sheriff is asking those who were there today to come back with the clothes and shoes they were wearing.

My mom, a pediatric RN for over 30 years, finds it funny that Mercury is so "over-rated". When she was a kid, they used to break open thermometers all the time and collect and play with the mercury inside. Nowadays one thermometer breaks in school and they shut down the school. What is this world coming to? 0 -
I too played with mercury a lot as a kid. We used to take silver coins and coat them. Next day they would be dull again so we would do it over and over. Made them look brand new. 0
