Yo Mike!!! Watch for the cops in NJ they are everywhere!!! 0 -
no doubt, Pa, but nothin compares to the crap they pull in Ohio. they actually travel in packs on I-70! I felt like a baby fur seal in a pack of killer whales there. 0 -
Good luck with your new business! 0 -
Home safe with a 1987 ford at 1:30 am (and we all know how queer i am for my fords!) 6 hours never missed a beat. never shifted across the entire length traveled on 80. Another bonus: Full maintainence records and get this, 109k original, verifiable miles! I thought that the trucks former operator was gonna cry as I was leaving the lot. Also, I have never, ever dealt with nicer folks. they filled the tanks, ($638 value), offered to take us to dinner, and let us use their transit plate to get it home. We had a cashier's check, but our bank was closed, so I told him " I'll fed-Ex the plate back. when you're comfy with the check, Fed Ex the signed title"
the thing is perfect, all Polished Alcoa's, tanks and stacks flawless, and the 450 hp cat wistles along perfectly. I started unloading the hoses, and he said, "Nah keep them.....no charge..." (for the uninitiated, the 5 3" hoses and the 4" are about $800 bucks.)For a 20 year old truck, it looks and drives Brand new. Steve, the 20 something owner said, 'don't you wanna open the hood?" I said 'dude, you guys have been so up front and honest, I'm just gonna take your word for it".
The new addition Is named 'big Dawg' in honor of Andrea's dad, and the truck number is '13', for Juice's racing number, (Andrea's boy)
The big western Star is known as 'pig pen' (Pit truck) and carries the number '72' for the boy's number.
tomorrow, we're registering the star, and i have work out the gi gi for it. phone rang off the hook today, so it looks like we'll break out at 60+ hours a week.
We'll keep ya posted!0 -
