    Of course there is no shame left in America... finger-pointing removes all sense of responsibility from one's self and therefore removes any sense of shame one might feel.

    I'd say people started to set aside shame during the '60's and after that it went down hill real fast. All that "free love", "Dope" (and all it's other forms) let people forget. Then the '70's[xx(][V] (don't make me type it out). The cut your heart out and take no prisoners of the '80's by then had little concept of shame (women wearing line backer shoulder pads to work[:D]). By now in the '90's all the kids raised by a single parent (or had little parenting if at all raised themselves). I'm sure society had better things to worry about than the next generation running the big show.

    How can there be shame, when the government sets up 'feeding stations' at disasters...

    Where big brave warriour 'been there done that' types meekly submit to crawling on their bellies to get the means to protect themselves and their loved ones...
    when the government extracts..at the point of a gun...moneys...and hands it out to every two-bit dictator in the world...and most of the people in this country ?

    Shame..? whatenhel is THAT ?

    i think that is half of it. i think the other half is that people just dont want to think they are bad, that they did anything bad. they just want to feel good.

    good question. i am not sure. i dont know exactly what shame is so i am not sure if i have shame. it seems everyone has their own definition of shame so mine might not be the same as yours or the same as the dictionary version.

    i have been to those beaches, lol, there is NO shame at all. personally though i dont think anyone has a ugly body, some just have better bodies than others, lol
