did anyone see the movie [?] how was it Im wanting to see but Im waiting untill it comes to the stores.

I thought it was a great action flick,
just keep in mind that it is based more on the graphic novel rather than historical fact and you'll be fine.
Even with that in mind I was pleasently surprised at the historically accurate bits and pieces which were thrown in now and then [:D]0 -
intense hand to hand or sword to sword combat scenes, i would definately reccomend it! 0 -
Given how much I hate Frank Miller, I was surprised that I actually liked the movie. Great action flick. As KSUmarksman said, it's not a history lesson and if you're not looking for one, you'll enjoy it. 0 -

Very stylised, in a sepia tone, lots of action, the actors were actually buffed out
before/while the film was shot. Not historically accurate. I enjoyed it - twice!

It was awesome IMHO. Part of that was due to the "big screen" atmosphere, but it was all about manhood, standing up for what you believe, standing on conviction even at your peril and killing bad guys.[^][^][^][^][^] 0 -

I saw it and thought it was AWSOME!
I think its one of those movies that's really best viewed on the "Silver Screen"0 -
Aesthetically its an awesome movie. Lots of mind-blowing imagery.
But...
The plot sucks. Basically, Spartans fight Persians, Spartans kill Persians, Spartans fight more (different) Persians, Spartans kill Persians, Spartans fight Persians, finally Persians kill Spartans.
