Which Gun
If you were being sent to a dessert island, what ONE gun would you choose to take with unlimited ammunition? You do not have to own or have owned it.

My brother-in-law is gifting me a new gun for helping him on a project. My choice - a DPMS 308, the new FN 308, or a FAL STG-58 308. Which do I choose? I do not currently have a 308 and think any of these will be nice. Yoour thoughts? 0 -

If it was a deserted island, which means no one is there, what would you need a gun for?
If I was on a deserted island I would want a good fishing rod, forget the gun.

If i had to choose a gun, I would choose the Ar-10. Could use it for hunting or personel defence.
If i knew i was going to be stranded on a desserted island, I would take a good knife over a gun any day. There is so much more you can do with a knife to save your life than you could ever do with a gun.

Depends on what kind of dessert. It it is an island of cheesecake I will get nekkid and roll in it. If it is chocolate cake I will roll in it nekkid and then eat it. 0 -
on an island I sure would not want anything automatic ,and nothing that needed greese and oil everyday to shoot so I too would go with a pump 12ga with a wide selection of ammo 0 -

A good .22 rifle, or maybe a .22mag, for overkill. 0 -
a good .308 rifle or an M1 Garand. Maybe a good bolt action of at least .30-'06 caliber. Maybe a minigun. Maybe. . . 0 -
