Travis text me this morning

around 8 this morning I got a text from Travis he was at the jfk airport and he said it was freezing....

I text him again around 12 and he didnt answer back so I take it he is back on the plane heading to kansas,,,Thank God he made it home safe. Even though he has to stay in kansas for awhile at least he is stateside and we can call or text him whenever we want...

Thanks for all your prayers while he was gone,we are so lucky that he is still with us and in one piece...My girls got a phone at school today telling them he was back,I know that put a smile on their face especially that 6yr who would cry at night because she missed Travis and just tell you that her allergies were acting up instead of telling us why she was crying..

    Give travis the biggest hug you can from all of us here on
    GB and tell him thanks from my wife and myself for all that he has done. Also tell travis that when he gets out my way, that I have something for him to do. David will know what.

    just got another text,,he is in topeka has to some army paper work bs then he is on a bus to ft riley..there he will have two days of rr but he cant go 150miles away from base.
    Then he has a few weeks of reconditioning to do and then hopefully by Thanksgiving he will be back here.....texas

    I was the end of may start of june,,he was home for r&r. His tour was up in sept then they moved it dec then they finally decided on oct....Thank God,,he is home,,,

    Nunn will have more picture of his homecoming on the bus from topeka to Ft Riley..

    Boy I am sure glad I got text on his phone,,cause travis is not a talker but he can text.
