This is well known information.
He was even thought to have been one of the HoBo's that were rounded up in the Rail Yard (near the grassy knoll) above Delay Plaza in Dallas the day JFK was shot. The picture of the HoBo being led by police is a dead ringer for Mr. Harrelson. Now if this was him, why would a confirmed hitman be in that area at that time? [;)]

Sorry I am not well informed on pop culture. When I heard he died a few days ago the story came as a surprise to me.
