More on Mike Vick dog fighting house (66 dogs!)

Vick wears the garb of a rap music gangster thug, and, from reading that story, it sounds like he is one.
Atlanta needs to dump this punk if they ever want to make the Super Bowl.0 -
Not a sports fan, never heard of him. I find it interesting that Dave W. also adds "people everywhere confuse what they read in the newspapers with news". I would like to add, TV and radio to newspapers. Also add, they believe the news, if they want it to be true and if they don't want it to be true then it must be false. 0 -
I posted this as a follow up to this post:

"There's more to me than people might think" - Michael Vick [:D]0 -
quote:
".....It's a call for me to really tighten down on who I'm trying to take care of. When it all boils down, people will try to take advantage of you and leave you out to dry. Lesson learned for me."
This was a house Vick owned that a cousin "lives in."
I bet Vick has 20 houses. He's probably never even been there. It's the hangers-on that'll bring you down.
Remember the marijuana in the bottle at the airport? Wasn't MJ.
Point is, let's get the facts before we crucify the guy.0 -
Po'Mike, it don't be his fault what Davon do, and 'dey all come down on him fo'it.
The "fact" here is that Vick owns the house, though this doen't make him culpable for what possible crimes Davon may commit, it does indicate a lack of responsibility as a "land lord". That he's probably never been there is pure supposition, and probably an incorrect one at that. I visit my cousins houses and I don't even own them.
Nobody here is trying to "crucify" the guy, as far as we know he's guilty of nothing other than possibly poor judgement of his cousins integrity in this incident. He could care less what a few GB posters say about him.0 -
The way you worded that sounds exactly like a cucifition. You made my point again for me. It is all supposition till the facts come out. So why the "devon gwayna git some wadmellon" language? We just love to bring down the rich and famous.
The Australians have a phrase for this - "Cutting down the tall poppy."0
