Your M4 Entry
So you bought the AR15 you've always wanted the M4 Entry (RRA, DPMS, B/M whatever), you now own the "Feared" Black Rifle. Compact and light weight, the perfect weapon. Small, lightweight and very effective. Remember what the previous words were[?] THEN Why T'F' would you load it up with 5 to 6 Lbs of crap[?][?] What was thr original reason for chosing that particular rifle[?] Remember[?] Light weight[?] compact[?] Just laughed my a$$ off at a friend and had to share it.[:D][:D][:D][:D] & he won't let me take a picture of it...starting price $875.00....End price........$2275.00

Not me. I bought a RRA entry last year and all I'm going to put on it is a yet to be determined lightweight optics. I know what you mean. 0 -
I dont even want the stupid M4 cut barrel on my gun.
This would be my all purpose firearm in an emergency.

Mine is the way it came. Stock Busshy all the way. I may replace the grip but thats all folks. If I get rich I will get an acog mabye or an eotech 552. 0 -
I think it was wallie that posted one that looked like it weighed a ton....Mine is a stock RRA 16 inch no FH. bought a green houge grip so not to confuse it with a friends, whom i shoot with often. Eotech 552 AA NV compatable, GG&G QD mount and GG&G flip up RS.... $5 nylon sling and a Harris AR handguard mount for the bipod great for Prarie Dawg shootin can lay down anywhere and be rock solid. no need for alot of that other junk i see guys putting on there guns i.e....lights and griphandles, lasers and long range tac scopes with or without NV. i think all that stuff makes it impractical for the average shooter. some of it may be needed if your in law enforcement.

You wouldn't believe how effective something loaded out with 5 to 6 Lbs of "crap" can be in a combat situation. And if you're in the Guard or Reserves, then owning one at home is a VERY good way to stay trained on them, because you get to fire live rounds through the military rifles once a year unless you get deployed. 0 -
If i wantes an M4 i would build my own. 0 -

Ditto ... the M4 notch is the weakest part of the barrel ... any "barrel whip" will start right there!

Mounting a grenade launcher.0 -
Thanks. Surprised that an Air Force wing wiper knew that. Guess I'll have to get a grenade launcher now. 0 -
So many choices, so few SHTF scenarios...
Well, one of them has the step down barrel anyway...[;)]0
