Question for Lawyers on this forum
If someone e-mails me, and I answer them, they then respond, is the response a property of them or me? If so, can they copywrite their repose thereby keeping it private or is it my property to do with as I wish. Don

I only ask because I was told "Don't expect to brush me off with your request to not email you. You keep dicking with me and you will continue to hear from me." So? Don 0 -

I guess I'm not up to date on the "E-mail" dilemma.[?] Don, are you not getting enough of them? I can send you one or two and if you will send me $2.00 each, I will assign the copyright, no problemo.[:D] AND, just because I've had a couple of beers, don't pick on me.[:D]0 -

As I recall this a gray area of copyright law. With general emails there is a question of monetary damages that makes litigation remote. To be on the safe side don't publish the letter, just relay your experience in your own words.
I am not a copyright lawyer, and if you want to dig, start here:

If someone is harassing you, a copyright won't protect them. You cannot threaten someone with a letter and then put a copyright disclaimer in it and expect it to me protected. Such transmissions have no value, thus no damages. If this coward continues, report the harrasing behavior to your ISP.0 -
They are going to sue you either way Don! 0 -
