well, all I can say is that you had no way of knowing.

I would not guess that if the dog accepted the cat that she would not understand what kittens were.

For a defense, she can use the fact they were illegal aliens. Their mother brought them across the fenceline to cash in on some free milk and honey.[:0]

where was the momma cat? every one I met with kittens went berserk if you got too close to them.

me and my full-grown male rottweiler was walking around one day, just as we got to this bush a cat jumped out like it was going to shred us both into little bloody chunks. and stood there waiting for us to make our move. I was like "what the hell?!?" some little kid nearby said "she's got kittens in there" I said OH... we tiptoed around. something like that would be all over a mini pinscher.

She and the dog are best friends I would look out the back door and she would be leaning against the dog like two kids on a date. The mother was probably out looking for food . All I know is she trusted the wrong animal to watch her babies.

Nature works in strange ways, but you will be safe as long as you dont grow fur and hide under the lawn trailer.

    Too bad for the kitties.

My brother's Bisenji/American Bulldog mix has killed 5 neighborhood cats and 1 red squirrel.

He's the sweetest, coolest dog until a cat steps foot in the yard.

You might want to be careful what you admit to, I think you can go to jail for that. And some nutjob might decide your dog is a danger and needs to be put down. I know its not the dogs fault, but some people are giant idiots who have nothing better to do with their time than meddle.

Nope, his dog is safe. If the killings occurred inside his yard, fenced or not, there is nothing anyone can do.

Friend of mine had a Chow chained in his backyard. A neighbors little toy poodle wandered into his yard and was torn to shreds by the Chow. It happened right in front of the neighbor. She was furious and called the cops. Cops told her it was her fault for not having her dog on a leash.

How unpleasant, I know these stray cats can be a menace though, one stray cat around here keeps leaving dead baby squirrels at my front door. and some of my neighbors keep feeding the strays even though that is specifically against the lease, and city policy.

One of my parrots killed a small bird once that accidently flew to it's cage, it was pretty sad because the big guy actually felt threatened by the little bird.

That stray cat likes you! He is leaving presents for you. He is saying "See, look what I did. You can have some too."

We had a Min-Pin for several years. They've kinda have a attitude that they rule over anything. Our's tried to bully my Dad's bull. Unfornately, over a year ago he tried to kill one of the neighbors horses. The horse stomped him to death. Sad day when we lost him, and still miss the little turd.

Parents have a huge privacy fenced back yard that the dog does not get out of, if a cat comes in, they're good as dead.

O.K. , I really hate to hear that any animal has commited murder , and by the way BIGTIRE : a animal can be deemed dangerous and place the owner in a heap of serious Doo even if in a fenced-in area on private property , and I would be very careful as to what I admitted my dog(s) have done ...
    Thanks !!!

My Last Lab use to kill cats for fun. She would lie and wait for them to come into the yard. Kinda Premeditated killings. Killings were over fast... she would shake them till their fur come flying off.. then throw them down and wait on another one to make a mistake of coming into HER yard.

The stray cats scare the birds away from the bird feeder too.

We have a Min pin now. If this dog were 80 lbs. it would be an illegal weapon. They are bullies, but great little dogs that are bread to kill little fuzz balls. Dog is NOT GUILTY. My judgemdent is for the defendant.

A dog would only be deemed "Dangerous" if it attacked a person. Even then, if it happens on the owners fenced in property and the property is marked with "bad dog", "guard dog", or "no trespassing" signs. No crime has been committed. The victim can still sue, but winning would be difficult.

Get some live traps and take them to a shelter. Or call animal control and ask them to set live traps.

We intend to get one of the little bundles of terror when we get back to IA.Good friend had one that hated everything and anyone that had anything to do with it.He'd start fights with the other dogs then cheer them on.after it was over he acted like he won.I dare you to touch any of the old Colts or Winchesters on his table without permission.Try getting in the suburban.Little pr1ck loved to hunt though and go for rides in the duck boat.Hated pheasants and those that retrieved them, felt the same way about ducks. If Sparky started to growl it would'nt be long till a flock would be in eyesight.Don't know how many times he got stuffed in the decoy bag just to shut him up while the ducks were trying to set in the decoys.

Can't blame a dog for doing what dogs do. Don't put human morals or intelligence levels on a dog. They are animals and they can only do what comes natural to them.

Your dog is a child murderer and should be executed.
