I always give my babies a treat after their bath...Once I have towel dried them I get them a bit of ham, turkey or something special in the people food line...they get their cat treats every day....so its "special" treat after a bath...They will actually wait in the kitchen for me to give them their treat...

My Dog gets a pancake every morning. We have extras from Sunday morning..( I make sure there are extras ) He also gets a milkbone every night at 7.30. If you don't do it, he will remind you.

Yep. My beagle detests getting a bath. We can usually get her to be calm for the 5 minutes it takes by constantly reminding her of the cookie she will get when she is done. She usually gets so exited that she wants to skip the drying part so she can get down to the laundry room for her treat.
The lab doens't care. He would rather play in the water.

We have several types of treats on hand for Daisy, she really likes the cannine carryouts.

I don't always give the dogs a treat after a bath. But do sometimes. Certainly see nothing wrong w/it. We give ours Alpo Snaps.

    My dog doesn't take baths.

She gets smoked beef neck-bones or pigs' tails for treats.

...My springer mix is outside all year, and only gets a bath if he's going to the vet. That's maybe twice a year. We keep an old kiddie pool around for his baths. He never tries to come in the house....except after his bath. His nose is stuck at the door....he knows. That's his treat. He gets to spend the day or night in the house. He gets tired of it pretty quick and wants to go back out and roll on something dead.

Our dog hates the bath but loves to be blow dried with the hairdryer. Always puts his butt up to it. Must feel good. I might try it sometime.

I just let my Dane roll around in the dirt.
Hey, the dog's happy & I can honestly tell the wife that I gave the dog a bath.

My dogs get treats basically for breathing. Two or three a day. Both seem to like baths, so nothing special there.

"Spoiled" is an understatement. But, they're great to have around. Unconditional love and loyalty, and the perfect mix of early-warning system (to the extent of warning me that a car is driving by on the street [V]) with absolutely no desire to hurt anyone or anything.

During a bath my dog gets a electric collar with a 4-plug. If she acts up I give her full throttle both buttons!

Just kidding, I had to take a poke on some of the more PETA look alikes on the board. [}:)][;)]

At times, when asked why I spoil my dogs, thus keeping them slightly fat and extremely lazy, I point out that in case of hard times they'll make fine gloves and tacos. [:D]

Kind of tough to deny this little girl a treat after her bath. She lives indoors, so she gets a bath every Monday. She's a sweety...
She's very sad, in the bottom photo. Crying about it too...."GIRLS"u just never know...
