I'm finding myself going more towards the Heavy/Death/Goth Rock genera.

I get in moods where I start listening to the likes of Metalica, NIN, or even a little punk like the Dead Kennedy's. But when I do it is only for a bit and then I go back to my country.

I was on country for awhile. Even rap for a short time. The heavy, heavy metal just does something for me.

I like old country. Most of them tell stories that most music doesn't do anymore.

My favorite heavy metal cd is my real old Metalica. The original Garage Days! You may not have even heard this one before as it was done on a 4 track recorder in there garage before they ever got a recording contract. I also have copies of alot of DEMO's of theirs from the black album, these are a trip to listen too as they didn't even have all the words written to the songs yet and are humming instead of singing as he was trying to make up words as he went along with the music.

These recordings of theirs are very rare and I have been offered pretty big bucks for them but have never given them up.

I kinda like TOOL except I find them kinda evil and I think that Maynard James Keenen is the next Anti-Christ but the music is good.
I also like AFI but they're getting EMo and kinda gay so i'll stick with the older stuff. my favorite band is The Mars Volta, weird lyrics but good music.

Kenny Rogers and The First Edition:[:D]
I woke up this mornin' with the sundown shinin' in
I found my mind in a brown paper bag within
I tripped on a cloud and fell-a eight miles high
I tore my mind on a jagged sky
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

(Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)

I pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I followed it in
I watched myself crawlin' out as I was a-crawlin' in
I got up so tight I couldn't unwind
I saw so much I broke my mind
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

(Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)

Someone painted "April Fool" in big black letters on a "Dead End" sign
I had my foot on the gas as I left the road and blew out my mind
Eight miles outta Memphis and I got no spare
Eight miles straight up downtown somewhere
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

I said I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
    Yeah yeah oh-yeah

When I'm gearing up to workout I like my Metallica, Black Sabbath, GnR and Kid Rock. All the rest of the time it's Old Country, Bluegrass and some newer country mixed with Patriot (Conservative) radio on SIRIUS!!!

Yup! The LP I have is in mint condition and has only seen a turntable 1 time in its life. I played it the one time to record it to casette and it has not been out of the jacket since.

The CD version I have has only been played a couple times and is mint as well. I recorded it to another CD and make copies of the copy to keep me in good condition CD's of it.

That is why I have been offered good money for them, but never took it. I figure one day they will be worth even better money.

I live in a crowded neighborhood in the inner city.

On full moons, I break out the lithium, the grapefruit juice, and the Tanqueray.

I crank up The Stones full volume alternating between "Sympathy for the Devil" and "She's a Rainbow".

The hood knows I'm cleaning my guns.
