The Pat's are, in my opinion, the best team in the NFL. I hope to see them again at the end of the year. Dallas is coming along real well, and the cycle will once again, run it's course in the NFL with their salary caps and free agency.
I don't think the Boy's have anything to be ashamed of, and I don't think the Pat's walked off with a give me.[;)]0 -
As I see it right now and unless something changes drastically Dallas only has Green Bay in their way of the big game... But that weak schedule could kill them... Today's game was a major plus for them!!! 0 -

I don't follow football all that much, but weren't the Patriots the team that listens in on other team's radio communications? Seems that would be a big advantage.

it is UNFATHOMABLE to me how the raiders could have traded randy moss and gotten absolutley SQWAT for him. but to top it off, they traded him to the best team in football and thereby insured that the patriots would be unbeatable. 0 -

Belichik wasn't stealing signals from the Jets, he got CAUGHT stealing signals from the Jets. Every team does it, thats why you dont hear much flak from other head coaches except from Jets head coach Mangini who hates Belichik..... 0 -
I didn't get to watch the game because it was on CBS, and I can not pick up any local channels on my Direct T/V package. I have to go off my satellite to try and pick up the CBS & ABC channels, and they don't come in very well even with an antenna. I can get NBC, because the nearest station is over 100 miles from me.

The practice of seppuku involved using a special blade to cut into the part of the body which was considered to house man's life force - the hara and source of his power. The blade would vary in specification according to the circumstances. On the battlefield the warrior would use his wakizashi.
The incision would start from the left side of his abdomen and be drawn horizontally toward the right. If his strength permitted it then it would be followed with another cut made vertically. Another variant of this would be to prolong the horizontal cut or start a new one from the middle of the first and driving the blade upwards in the direction of his throat. Originally the first horizontal cut was delivered with a long blade to sever the spinal nerve centres and the second cut complemented the first being redirected towards the aorta.
Now Earl, if you start to lose all your strength after that horizontal cut, and the vertical cut seems to be impossible, it is of no shame to have your Second, standing behind you and to your left, to sever your head with one stroke of his Samauri sword.
Also, if you want to have 2 or 3 gin and tonics beforehand, since you are an American, this is also acceptable.0 -
I was at the game and it was a zoo! What a blast!
Really closer than score shows. A couple of penalties here, a slow start in the first quarter there, and it is a different game. You can't make mistakes against the top teams. The Pats are not the Bills.
The Pats and Colts are now the best, but I'm still proud of our young team and the effort they expended against the team of the decade. When we overtake them, it will be all the sweeter if they are the best.
Nice to see a Texas Tech boy do good, though...
