AR Pistol

1776-1976
I purchased an AR pistol on GB not to long ago and had a chance to try it out for the first time today. This being the first AR pistol I have shot it was a blast to fire with minimal recoil and the biggest bang I have ever had with a pistol. It was a LAR 15 Grizzly chambered in 223. Ever since I tried this one out I cant wait till I can afford another. I have enjoyed my AR rifles but this pistol is a lot more fun than any of my rifles. For those who have not tried one you dont know what your missing.

    What are the laws for owning a AR15 pistol? Is it a class III

    Can a regular AR15 pistol upper fit on a regular preban AR15 lower?

    I am happy with the gun the only downside of the gun it is super loud.

    It has a 7 1/2 inch barrel. It is pretty accurate with a reflex sight on it. Plus it has a laser on it if its a little dark.

    They are a blast, pun intended. There is a lot of unburned powerd in a 7" BBL. I perfer the Olympic Arms AR pistols though due to size since it does not require a buffer tube. Mine is actually built on a LAR lower, they are nice. Another cool one to check out is the Kel Tech they are qutie a bit cheeper.

    I've got a few hundred rounds thru this beast. It is awfully loud and a lot of blast.... but lots of fun.

    Yeah, I seen them a couple of gun shows ago and put one on my to get list. I was thinking Beta mag too.

    They are just Beta C mags for the AR/M16 that have been on the market for about 10 years now. They are for sale all over GB or you can get them direct from Beta for $242.

    I have one that looks a lot like Nwcids'. Actually he helped me with my decision to get mine (thanks Nwcid). Mine is built on a Lauer custom lower and a Oly upper. Mine shoots great with an EoTech holo sight on top. Mine doesn't like worn AR mags but if you run newer ones it runs flawless. We were hitting milk jugs of water at 200yds with it a few weeks ago. They are a blast. And yes I have a Beta or two as well.
