I had a Para LDa and loved it, had to sell it earlier this year. The trigger pull is great, similar to a wheel gun trigger!!! Different then most auto's, but in a good sort of way, you will like it!!!

Paras can be hit or miss. No LDA exeriance, my bro has a finicky p13, and I have talked to all the IPSC guys who I have seen that built on a P14

I guess I will proceed with caution. I`ll look for a used one and ask lots of questions of the previous owner before buying. Thanks

People talk about hit or miss, but I've always thought that a little TLC will bring just about any gun around. Like maybe a brick of ball ammo before passing judgement.

LDA is a fine, fine trigger. The gun is not a true DAO, since the slide will have to be racked to eject a round which fails to fire. Some ammo I used experienced a light hammer strike, so the second-strike would have been nice; in fact, I'd have kept my copies if the gun had that feature.

I had a P16-40 LDA. I thhought it was a great trigger but I am to used to shooting standard 1911's, Sigs and others because I had a hard time getting used to it. If I would have shot it enough it would not have been a problem. My dad really liked it though so I gave it to him and kept myself from having to shoot it a bunch. HEY! That isn't as great a logical plan as it sounded like in my head. I need to go call my dad.
