Here's a question for you

Would you be comfortable with this situation? I met someone at the gunshow today who wanted to buy my Costa Mesa AR 180. He called me later and said that he's from out of town. Caller ID said it was Nevada. He asked that he give me half tomorrow and take the lower. Then when he gets home he'd send me the rest and I would then send the upper to him. Does Nevada or New Mexico have any laws about this type of weapon? Is he trying to get away with something more than a FFl transfer fee? By the way he has an Engilsh accent. Am I reading to much into this?

  If he were to have the cash and a photo copy of his license, I would sell it to him and let him worry about his state laws, however I wouldn't do a deal like he just mentioned. You don't know if he's on the up and up. Once he has the lower he could build a new upper for it, and leave you hanging with the rest.

  I called him and told him it's the whole gun or nothing. He told me not to worry that he'll have all the money tomorrow.
