Remington model 770

Just looking for some info from anyone who has purchased or first hand knowledge with the Remington Model 770 bolt action rifle. I am looking for a 30-06 and did look at one in the Bass Pro Shop. Would be interested in any info on the reliablity, trigger pull, group sizes and opinion over all. 2008 they are to bring it out in stainless steel which I do not like.

  My best advice is to go with a Stevens 200. Better rifle, and very close in price, if not cheaper.

  go with the stevens and your probally have money left.

  I believe the barrel is pressed in, just like the 710. I'd suggest going for something higher quality. That Stevens would be a much better choice.
