The ARH (Army Reconnaissance Helicopter) will replace the current Kiowa Warrior.

Not to burst any bubbles, but the helo pictured in the article is just another militarized version of the Bell Jet Ranger, same as the Kiowa. 0 -
Cat- You are correct, it is a very close sibling to the civilian 407.
That was essentially what the Army asked for, even though the Army has changed design specification a number of times it is what the Army wants. The avionics that the ARH will have will be superior to anything comparable already in the U.S. arsenal.
Often times with small packages it is what's inside that counts.0
