    Burlap ain't no poke, it's a sack. A dope in a poke was standard here in TN when I left in 1956. When I came back in 2001, everybody carried their cokes in bags..Things change...

    To me soda means club soda, anything else would be a soft drink.

    ...any fizzy drink was a "coke", then you had to specify.

    I live in Ohio and everyone says pop, but I spent my early childhood in Colorado where its called soda, which is what I still call it today.
