Why are there no Americans on the judging panel? Two from England and one from Canada. What's the deal with that? 0 -
I don't typically watch these talent contest shows, but Tori does. She told me about the guy currently on there that is a ventriliquist. Terry Fator. He's phenomenal. He's a singer who boasts ratpack tunes and was challenged to do a country song. He did a Garth Brooks song and it was awesome. He's really an act to see, you should check him out. Anyone seen him? 0 -
Does anyone else watch it? It reminds me of the old Ted Mack Amateur Hour. I enjoy the variety but was very disappointed in most of last night's acts.
Here's the funny part: The show is hyped as "America's biggest prize of $1 Million!" and the contestants are all talking about how they would spend the money if they win: a new house, cars, trips, etc.
What they must not realize, as shown on the disclaimer at the end of the show, is: "$1 million grand prize is annuitized over 40 YEARS!". I don't think $25, 000 per year before taxes is going to change their lives significantly, even if they live long enough to collect all of the payments! [:0]0 -
I'm with you...I wouldn't waste my time with that crap. Can't remember if it was in here, or another forum where somebody posted a link for U-Tube about him.
Just do a search over there for Terry Fator, and you'll come up with a bunch of stuff for him. He's amazing! [:D]

I caught it a couple of weeks ago when I was on the computer and the kids had it on TV. Now I watch it only long enough to catch his act. Unbelievable! Loved his Kermit the Frog doing Roy Orbison the other night. If he doesn't win, the whole show is a farce. Well...the show is a farce anyway...but he is the best talent on there by far! 0 -

Agreed, he's downright amazing and funny.
I'd pay to see him live. Him and that Blues guy. He's awesome as well.

I just watched a couple on youtube and the one with the turtle singing wonderful world was great.

Don't forget Butterscotch, that girl is really amazing, not really my style of music, but she has an amazing gift.

What the hell will Butterscotch produce music wise? Yeah she can beatbox, but how many albums can you put out beatboxing?
Cas is good, he really is, but I think everyone really likes Fator.
Cas will get a contract, maybe Butterscotch will be featured on some rap albums, but I don't think her voice is good enough to produce any solo albums.0 -

Her singing voice is like Nora Jones, plus she plays several instraments, plus she can beat box, and she does it all at the same time. There is a market for what she does and she will be recording soon. I am nto saying that she is going to be the next Madonna, but she will have a CD out at a Best Buy near you.
