Cincinnati firearm laws...
Can someone confirm this for me? Looking in my big book o' firearm laws I got with my C&R license, I checked up on the Cincinnati regs and came across what appears to be a section banning ANY semi-auto firearm.
Reason I ask is because a friend is considering buying a semi-auto .22 target pistol, and according to this law even that would be illegal for him to possess.

Ok, nevermind, it appears this restriction on semi-autos will expire in a few months due to the new law that was passed. [:D][:D]
Its not all doom and gloom for gun rights... looks like Ohio is headed in the right direction. As of March 13, all these stupid city ordinances against firearms get swept away.0 -

The law sounds like it was written by the Brady Anti-Gun Group.0 -

You are correct. Toledo, Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati and several smaller towns have these type of laws in Ohio. They were ruled unconsitutional recently because city laws can not over ride state laws. So in March all city rules will be void.0 -
And that stupid "plain sight" requirement goes in the can too!
Finally we won't have to disarm ourselves to get in the car!0
