The trouble will be holding the gun and shooting it. I HAD a 386PD with crimson trace grips, absolutely senseless to shoot with .357 loads.

Well Some babies cry about the guns recoil when using .357 some even advocate using 38 (then buy a 38 sissy) but look if you bought an ultralight for concealed carry then shoot the .357 it will only happen in a life or death situation and I'm pretty sure you can handle that. I shoot 180 grain hunting rounds out of my Taurus ultralite it hurts sure but I don't shoot a whole box I just keep my instinctive shooting skills up. Anyway its not hard to line up the laser

Got rid of my 386PD, also.

Oh... but then you knew that, Dave.

I installed the crimson trace lazer grips on my S&W model 38 some time ago. Its a simple install and very easy to hit the range and sight the lazer. Works like a charm, a great little tool for night protection. Never have to think about the sights anymore![^]

They are expensive but for older folks with failing eyesight its a wonderful sighting system.

Troll with two screen names. You are comparing apples to oranges. The scandium framed Smiths' with the hard plastic grips are much more violent then the Taurus with porting and soft rubber grips. I had both, sold the Smith. Why does that make me a "sissy"?
