Anyone do block shoot or egg shoot today?

I got lucky and nailed an small egg at 50yds. with a open sight house gun today. Tried it later but had a few too many in me to be steady.

    My gun club does egg shoots as a fundraiser.

    My club does them. Start at 250 yards and move in 25 yards when all have shot. Shoot off hand, any gun or sight. Has been hit at 225 once in all the years it has been done.

    A semi-local club has a pistol vs. rifle contest coming up next weekend - 10 golf balls at 200 yards, (s)he who knocks most off/out with 10 shots wins.

    Why would anyone shoot after they have had any, much less "a few too many?" Not a testiment to intelligence or safe shooting practices pard.

    Local gun club here does clay birds at 300 yds. cheaper than eggs and or golf balls. before the dirt berm was built a few yrs ago there where some power lines out @ 400+ the linemen couldn't keep the insulators on the pole's. we fixed that with the berm.
