There are oh so many blade smiths that make the railroad spike
knives, and here are but just a few examples, from various makers.

They can range widely, from rather plain, to very ornate. Some
of the best images I came across couldn't be copied.[:(]

    Oh yes. Many blakesmiths make/sell them. Ray Rogers (those on top) would be a good place to start.

    Edited to add: There are even some in a local sporting goods store, likely made by a local craftsman.
