Scum lower than PI lawyers?
I've had to deal with this scum before. They partner with private parking lots to cruise around and immediately tow anyone not authorized. They usually don't even get out of their tow truck, just back up and scoop the wheels and off they go. Atlantic city has 2 industries, gambling and towing.

HOUSTON -- A toddler left alone in a sport utility vehicle was found after the SUV was towed on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said shortly before 3:30 p.m., workers at Rhonda Lane Auto Storage found the boy in the back seat after the mother called to tell them her son was inside a vehicle taken there.
Police said the child's 45-year-old aunt left the boy in her vehicle in a private lot near Fondren Road and Pagewood.
"I understand she just went to the school to pick up another child, parked this vehicle in a private property parking lot across the street. And the wrecker driver, doing his job on a daily routine, picked up the car and brings it directly to the storage lot, which is what he's supposed to do," said Sgt. Matt Clark with HPD.
The aunt was arrested. Police said she would probably face child endangerment charges.
The child was checked out by paramedics and was unharmed.

Yes, Insurance Companies and what ever you do for a living.0 -
My friend, who is a board-certified family law attorney, told me that even attorneys consider practitioners of family law and personal injury law the bottom of the legal barrel. That's what he said, not what I said. 0 -
They tried to tow our Benz in AC one time, we had the Anti Tow turned on, i ran down there and stopped them before they lifted the car, the scummy looking tow truck driver said, Had i lifted that, you would a owed me about 50 bucks. He looked like he had been on three day crack binge. 0 -

I would like to talk to your friend. I've been practicing for years in many different counties, and I haven't seen that to be true.
If anything, through my experience, its insurance defense lawyers and public defenders that seem to occupy a lessened status.
The public defenders are getting a raw deal.0 -
i would never leave a child alone in a car that i wasnt standing right next to. i certainly wouldnt leave a child alone in a car long enough for it to be towed. 0 -
By far the insurance companies are the most despicable...and so there lies the beginning of the cycle.... 0 -
Because this is the day of sickos I would not leave my child in a car alone either. When I was a child my mother would leave me and my sisters in the car while she ran into the grocery store to pick up something or into the post office to mail something. Never had any problems. She told us to stay in the car and don't mess with anything and guess what, that is what we did. My children have always minded us (they are grown now) but because of the possibility off some nut case grabbing them I wouldn't leave them in the car alone. Otherwise I would do just as my parents did. 0 -

I beg to disagree. Most lawyers are so low they have to look up to see whale crap. Almost as bad as most poiticians...but not quite, as there are a few non-lawyer politicians.0 -
geesh, all you new generation parents act like leaving a kid in a car is some kind of god forsaken act, but wont think twice about puffin' cigarettes or drinking beer around them.[8]
i can remember my mom laying me down as a toddler in the car while the family went and picked stawberries all day. why? it was shade!
am i the only one who grew up in a generation where we as kids always stayed in the car when mom went in shopping? cars were what we kids looked forward to as fun, to get out of the house while mom shopped for shoes...we'd listen the radio in the car.
but no...not now. oh gee, its so dangerous. over react . over react. zzzzzzz.[xx(]

if your ever hurt real bad,you need p.i.lawyers to get the insurance companies to pay anything anymore. insurance co. are the lowlifes. p.i. lawyers are the only friend you have. better believe that[V] 0 -
The PI and insurance lawyers I was compelled to deal with have to be the most unprincipled, unscrupulouse people alive. (mispelling intended) 0 -

His name is Steve Watkins, and it was 20 years or so ago that he told me that. Maybe times have changed?

Maybe so, but I see A LOT of ignorant-ass defendants getting royally SCREWED by their court-appointed attorneys. They don't want to work on a defense, so they sell their poor stupid clients a really bad plea deal, even when the state doesn't have a case.
Personally, if the lawyer isn't costing me big bucks, I don't want him on my side.0 -
I believe that lawyers are a necessary evil. They also suck big time. Did I leave anything out? Don 0
