Was as good day in northern Maine today.

Bright and sunny for a change but windy. Temp was around 45 degrees at noon time. So I lit the charcoal in the grill after placing it in a sunny spot out of the wind. Barbaqed moose steaks for dinner. Then in the middle of the afternoo oldest son stopped on his way home from ice fishing to pick up his daughter we'd been babysitting. Left enough fresh brook trout for us to have for supper. Dang but we ate good today.

  That is crazy hot for this time of year up there. I was stationed at Loring 91 til it closed and it was at the best 0 degrees this time of year.
