Day at Twin Ponds
Nice day at the range I got to shoot my new .45 Cx4 Storm, sweet and I shot my Bushmaster Carbon 15 Loud!
What was even cooler, I wish I had a camera or video, the guys next to me, while a little loud were shooting full auto and suppresed AR's
poppin the uppers off and going at it with 9mm too! They even had a full auto glock with a handle [:p]
The beretta .45 was very accurate the Bushy was way right but so was the rear sight when I checked it out at home. It was to busy to tinker there, they have closed one of our rifle ranges and everyone has to use Twin Ponds now so it was very busy.
Hardest part is getting to go down range to change targets with that many shooters. Funny one dude was mad when people asked for a cease fire, but he certainly asked when he wanted it[:(] People ruin the chance to shoot when they are abusive, one guy was going to shoot a tv until we told him he couln't.
Next this range will close!
Anyway Great shooting day and the Carbon 15 cleans up real easy, the Beretta also, I changed all the controls to the left. The mag release was a little tricky getting the spring back in but I got it!

You are talking about the ranges on Frances Marion? Is the Boggy Head range closed? I live on Charleston AFB and go to both a couple times a year. It is nearly an hour drive, or I would go more often.

Yes,Boggy Head was closed 2 weeks ago.
USFS is looking for volunteers to help clean up.

Why did they close boggy head. Is it for cleaning or another reason. If just for cleaning, I would like to help. Do you have a number for the point of contact?
