I can really do wonders, I can,
If you've got the misery,
Bring your misery to me,
I'm that Hi-De-Ho Miracle Man!
I'm the Hi-De-Ho Miracle Man,
I do things on a miracle plan,
If the blues are hangin' 'round,
And the devil's got you down,
See the Hi-De-Ho Miracle Man!
Hi-de-hi!
Ho-oh-oh-oh!
Sister Green came to me for my love recipe,
Said she'd heard about my miracle plan,
Sister Green is now okay,
Takes a treatment everyday,
From the Hi-De-Ho Miracle Man!
He's the Hi-De-Ho Miracle Man!
Hi-de-hi-de-hi-de-hi!

Brother Jones lived in sin,
He couldn't stop drinking gin,
And he heeded my miracle plan,
Now he brings his gin to me,
I get drunk instead, you see,

He's the Hi-De-Ho Miracle Man!
Hi-de-hi-de-hi-de-hi!

Yesterday, you know, I got a line
From good old Father Divine,
He was jealous of my good miracle plan;
You know, I was cuttin' in, you see,
Now, we're partners, him and me,

Dad says He doesnt think you can get everything you need, and the time, for as much as it will cost for you to hire a contractor to stop by and do it - HIRE BY THE HOUR. Dad did one yesterday, 2 hours, cost the man paying for it $200.00
Its a 2 hour minimum, and thats what it took.0 -
Seriously My buddy and I are looking for a BACKHOE to "Clean" some ground that use to be a bulk petro station Part of which is considered dirty by the EPA He used to clean these messes up for a living in GA. so we can legally clean it since he know how t do it right... it is small area and we are not required to do this at present but we don't want them changing their minds after the shop expansion is sitting right on top of that ground... 0 -
if you want a small unit like mine i would recommend a three point add on unit, no frame mount with pto pump unit that leaves tractor hydraulics open for loader etc...i bought an excellent used one for $3500 for my 1700 ford (20HP) that will dig 5.5' deep....problem #2 as you stated is satisfying EPA specs in that you will have to dig out that dirt however deep to haul off and scatter to air, dry, etc out...need to know how much & how deep contamination is according to their guys so that will determine cost of clean up & you will know then which way to jump...remember you are dealing with a bueracrat (sp) that probably used to work at burger king...good luck...we had a gas station for 50 years & thank god squeeeeeaaked by so sale was easy 0 -

My experience with the situation you describe is VOC contamination is a crap shoot. What you think is a small area can turn into a huge mess in very short order. The way the stuff migrates is crazy. What starts as a 5 foot square 3 feet deep turns into an upside down funnel and at 10 feet has expanded to a 50X50.If the parts/Million goes above 50 AQMD[xx(]must be notified. And not to mention tests for heavy metals. The laws are possibly more lax in the state your in but here in CA.It can turn ugly faster than a simple thread here on the crazy train.Generally the prior owner can be hit for the expence especially if it was a commercial outfit or one of the oil co.'s.Also if the stuff can remain "Onsite" it's a way better deal. What are you required to do with the contaminated dirt?Water table is a factor as well as most reg's don't reqire you go below it.So the higher the better.0 -

...I rented a Mity (Mighty)? Mite from a local rental place. It was maybe 25 hp, had a bucket only 8-10" wide and dug about 6' deep. It had a front end loader also. I think it was around $150 / day.
...Check your rental outfits.0
