TUFF ON BLACKS SUBPOST 2
David -
I really appreciate your attempt to right the wrongs which have been done by whites to other races, most notably blacks, and their treatment over the last several hundred years. You have several errors of fact, which others have credibly pointed out.
I'd like to bring your attention to the statement which I have quoted below. You are indeed incorrect about the Watts riots. You have a bunch of events, which were separated significantly in time, mashed together for one all-encompassing event. Mostly, in the case of Watts, anyway, they beat the "chit" out of each other, as well as burning THEIR OWN dwellings and businesses to the ground. In addition to setting the fires - on THEIR OWN properties - the terrorist rioters put heavy gunfire on the firemen who were trying to save the rioters' property. The events in LA were not related to the events in the south, where some militant integrationists tried to provoke the reactions that , eventually, occurred.
You are confusing events that happened nearly a decade apart.
I can speak with authority, because I WAS THERE. As part of a motorcycle club named "The Ace of Clubs". We were there - IN WATTS - assisting black victims of the terrorist rioters to get food, shelter, safety and clothing.
If you take issue with my reference to them as "terrorist rioters", let me remind you that the riots were (illegal)open warfare against their OWN people. If you take exception to this, let me remind you that I was there - I know what a terrorist attack is.
"When i said we i meant our ...well cmon watts riots ummm..am i incorrect on the news clips from the 60s where we beat the chit out of them and sicked the german shepards on them because they didnt want the back of the bus or wanted too eat and drink from the same place. You must rember that the 30 yr old black male still has there grandparents telling them those stories." - dbk2003
Please return to your non-revisionist history books, and newsreels and videotapes of the period, which the study of will allow you to reach well-informed conclusions.
Oh, yes, please don't shrilly screech at your fellow forum members.
