If the rain comes, they run and hide their heads, they might as well be dead, if the rain comes, if the rain comes.....

How about a june bug in the center of your chest at 75? OUCH!!!

I was stationed in NW Florida (Tyndall Field) in the Air Force, got to ride all year round. Not bad for a South Dakota boy!!

I got hit in the ribs once doing about 40 mph by a bird. It hurt some, but It scared me more than anything. The darn bird flew right into me. I couldn't imagine hail[:0] But I was on a crotch rocket with a full face helment. Still hail would really hurt.

A buddy of mine got hit by a Deer. He's a big ol boy, 6'8"/360lb, and he said it popped up off the side of the road and ran right into the side of him and his wife, and kinda glanced off, didn't upset em too bad.

spryor= That happened to me (run into by a deer) about 35 years ago. I was riding down a gravel road on my way to work. I'm in a slight left hand curve and out of the corner of my eye I catch sight of what I think is a German Shepherd running toward me. My reaction was to crank on the gas and just as the message got to my hand the deer (a doe) put it's head into my left ankle, pushing it into the transmission and pushing the bike several degrees to the right. With power getting to the rear tire, I was able to bring the bike back to level and continue to work. I suspect the deer was as surprised as I. I had a scar on my ankle for several years, but was thankful that I didn't realize that it was a deer until it was about three feet from the bike, 'cause the only thing that kept me from a trip down the gravel was putting the power to it.
