I drove down to the gun range...

And had a couple pistols and ammo and targets and was happy to be at the range while all the crazy people went shopping but I went and left my range keys at home so all I could do was turn around and go home.

    I started leaving the range key in my truck after having left it at home on several occasions. I only drive my truck to the range so I always have it with me.

    We have a new gov. operated range here, which i imagine has set hours.

    I've heard it's a really nice range, but can't see the sense of it, since we have zillions of acres of NTL forest all around...

    MMight try to make it over there to see the appeal when the weather warms some..

    If you guys go to the range so much why not just put the range key on the keyring to your truck???

    Our range has a 4 digit combination lock. Makes it easier for us old fogies. Then, to make it easier, the combination is always something we would remember, like 3006, 3030....or a powder, 4350, 4895, 4831, etc. Something normal gate crashers wouldn't know. [:)][:)]

    It is a proximity badge that you wave over the pad and the gate opens automatically.
    This is the 21 century the security an it is beyond locks[:D]
