Handload...where are you at? I know where MVP and MT357 are...I'm about 1.5 hours NE of Post Falls...probably only about 40 miles but I have to drive all the way around Lake Pend Oreille.

MVP you should have stopped by and said hi. You had to drive within 5 mins of my house. [:D][:D][:D]

We went to their pre-opening event earlier this week. Pretty amazing the selection this place has. First Cabela's I have been to. It was amazing. We plan on doing a good portion of the Christmas shopping, but I will wait for a few weeks to go back in. Very busy place. For the next few weeks, I'll have to take a different route to work. The traffic in the 2 round-a-bouts add about another 10 minutes in my commute to/from work.

You in the Spokane area too??? I've got to start writing these things down or something (I certainly cannot remember them)...I had no idea so many GB'ers were in this area.

Well you will have to email me one of the times you make it this way and we can do lunch or something. That goes for all GB members that make it this way.

We used to live in CDA until fall 2005, and my wife worked in PFalls. We now live in the Lacey area. My work takes me to work in Spokane and Eastern washington several times a month. Looks like I'll be in Spokane,Colville and Cheney for a few weeks late December or early Jan.

My drive to work takes me by the Cabela's. From ground-breaking to opening, that palce went up fast. They are planning several hotels, food joins and gas stations to be going up by this time next year.

By the way the Cabelas just opened up in Reno, NV. this last Wed. I will be going there at the end of the month. Can't wait.

My brother's in KPN (little out a ways from Gig Harbour past Purdy) was telling me about it just now. He hasn't gone in even though he goes to mom and pops house for Sunday Dinners in Lacey.

I'll have to chalk it up to being lazy and cheap. He keeps moaning about the "Toll" on the bridge and how now he does most of the shopping on this side of the bridge. Another thing he'll go a round about ways to get to Lacey by going through Shelton (man I miss them oysters[V] since last time I was up there the supply was questionable).

Another thing is there a good "public" rifle range near Gig Harbour? Not that he'll go by his self but I'd like to when I'm up there.

Last I heard they did decide to take that building. Everyone at work is very excited about it. Things sure are changing fast in that area.

Yoshmyster - I am a Range Officer at the Gig Harbor Sportsmans' Club - It would be my honor to take you there as my guest, for free.

No .50 cal modern weapons though, but Good 'Ol Smokepoles (BP) are ok any caliber. 100 yards range 6 position, and Pistol ,75 feet, 7 lanes. Pretty cheap pistol ammo too!!!

Closed on Mondays. I can take you there on Range Officers' day Tuesday, with a little advance notice - one day or more. Then it is like a private range for you - usually less than five folks there.

I am in the phone books for Gig Harbor - give a call!

Went by there yesterday on the way back from Kelso area - They had the Lacey police force directing traffic and it was very crowded. Nice store but even their specials were kinda high priced. It was worth the stop just to spend an hour in there!!!!

I don't know if I will get down there more then once a year if that but the wildlife scenes were what I liked about the whole store.
I noticed that the used guns rack had a few really good prices which surprized me.
I was talking to the gun library guy and he said Cabelas has full time employees who just shop Estate sales around the country for collections of firearm and can get some great deals.

    Nwcid and ECC
I knew I was close to your homes when I passed through the upper Idaho and we will have to get together sometime . Maybe a rifle shoot or something would be fun. Offer is same to you guys if you ever get over here.
