I wouldn't buy anything Barska. There are several decent brands in the price range you are discussing. Look at some Nikon, or Bushnell Porro Prism binos. Forget ANY roof prism in the price range you are talking about. Basically, you get a lot more for your optics dollar in Porro Prism Binos. I did a bunch of research on this and it gets confusing, let me tell you. Don't go by looking at anything in doors. A comparable roof prism will cost at leat 2-3 times what equally good Porros cost. The only catch is that most Porros are larger. 0 -
i have a barska scope....great scope for the price. stays pretty clear even at the highest power. lifetime warrenty...good deals 0 -
I have the 10x42 armored binocs and paid $50. It is 10x better than my $19.99 special (10x50 Simmons) I purchased 20 years ago. Excellent back up for more expensive brands ... mine stays in my truck. 0 -
I have a barska riflescope. Best scope for the money. So good I've ordered another one. I'd never hesitate to buy a spotting scope or binocs from them. 0 -
I have no problems with Barska, but I'd never buy anything from Sportsmans Guide. That's as shady an outfit as it gets -- they don't honor prices, they'll backorder stuff and then jack up the price, etc.
I'd rather deal with someone who understands the customer is important.0 -
I was looking at (and thru) some $250+ Nikon 10x42 and the salesman handed me another pair said "try these".I said I didn't see much difference. He said they are on sale for $100.They are cabelas 10x42 CAB-1042PC. Don't know what the reg price but they're pretty good for that money. 0 -
I have a pair of 12 power Barska's that I bought for $15 from Sportsmans guide that I keep under the seat of my truck. I use them at the range when I shoot at 50 yds and don't want to fool with seting up my spoting scope. They are fine for that purpose. Optics are good enough and I don't worry about them being stolen. 0 -
O.K. , well , we have not sold very many Barska products ??? but we have ordered various items from sportsmans guide , all with no problems and great service ....

I have sold and use some barska products and the only stuff that I have had problems with was their Red Dot items. Very cheap and they give you problems when you bring it to their attention. Poor customer service.
My hunting partner uses a cheap barska spotting scope and likes it.0
