What happened to our forum?
For the last few days things seem to be rather out of sync here. People are talking about leaving, others are going off challenging the mods. I realize it's hot across the country, but this doesn't seem to be related to the heat. School is out for the summer and I'm assuming that has something to do with it. Hope things improve, as it's not much fun with everyone scrapping. Stay cool today. [^]
It's always been like this. Exactly like this. The names change but there have always been arguments, accusations, and threats to leave. Some have actually left. A couple good folks left, IMO. Seems like the real troublemakers don't leave. They can't. They crave the attention we give them. If everyone would simply not respond to provocative posts the people trying to stir things up would get bored and stop. But most of us seem incapable of not responding.

Sorry bout that there, I was a little touchly last night because we lost Blckhrn, he was a good friend of mine, and im proud to say so, and a few members decided to push my limits so i gave it all go and went at 'em like a fox to a dead turkey

if you all need something to do, bring a paint brush and come help paint my house! 98 yesterday. all i do is play dodge the sun. scrape the back in the morning, take a nooner, paint the front in the afternoon. 2 sides get done in the shade! then i collapse in front of the gb forum as im typing. Personally, I have enjoyed this forum since starting here. I found this site on accident and have spent a lot of time here. I can't tell you how much time i have spent here. I'm sure that if my wife knew how much time i was in here she would have handed me a paint brush along tome ago.
One thing I have really like and appriciated is the candur and friendship that is here. Honestly; speaking you mind seems to be welcome here. Thats one thing that keeps me coming back.0 -

I enjoy a little drama around here. There is some truth to ChicagoThunders comments when he complains it gets too boring around here. In some ways, turmoil is kind of like inflation. It shuffles the deck. The hierarchy changes.
