Do any gun companies...
... have reps who post here?
You'd think it would be a great way to put a human face on the company... well, as human as faces get on the Internet.
But think about it: we typically interact with gun companies through customer service reps - and typically only when something has gone wrong. That's not exactly the best way to build up customer loyalty, even when service is good because said service is predicated upon something that went awry.
It would be much better, I think, for the likes of Ruger or S&W or whoever to get someone with a really thick skin and lots of people skills to post here on a regular basis. It lets us, the consumer, know what's going on and lets them kind of gauge the pulse of the gun owner community.
I'm not sure who would be in charge of soliciting them to get on board, but it seemed like a decent thought when it crawled into my head.

Ugly is as ugly does. Bury one in mud, run over it with a truck, put it in the fish tank for a few weeks, rinse it off, put it to your head, pull trigger and WALA! you're poofed [}:)][xx(]
Maybe None could prove this process?
I luv my Kimber Gold Match, my life depends on my (butt ugly) Glock. It IS butt ugly- you're right on about that.0 -
...As for the "reps" on forums, the majority of the "reps" I see work for Co.'s that need someone to do damage control for an inferior product; not all, but a lot.
...Seem's with online "reps" they are mainly doing PR in defense of a poor product...[;)]

I noticed the Blue Wonder booth was not at last years SHOT show.
I liked watching the guy doing the demonstrations at that booth. He was a real comedian and salesman.0
