I tryed to buy a shotgun from california and the seller asked me for a signed in ink copy of my dealers ffl, My dealer wount send his ffl signed due to fraud risk he will only fax it of mail it which has been his practice in the past. Is this true,

  The seller doesn't need a copy of you dealer's FFL unless he is also a dealer. All he needs is the first three and last five numbers of the FFL. The validity of the license and the address can be verified on the BATF eZCheck web site. See the link.

  Ask your dealer how he wants to handle it. It really isn't that big of a deal. If he wants to fax it let him fax it.
