My take on the Stock Market
I am far from an expert but I do have a considerable amount of money in the stock market.
My small but important take is that when people cash their stocks in in the amount that we have seen recently, they do not run out and buy large yachts or bussiness Jets or half a million dollar cars.
They already do those things with their spending cash.
The money that is withdrawn is safely kept until the dust settles and then it is the game of who can reinvest the money at the lowest prices before the market gets back to where it was. Thats where the biggest gains are.
The only losers are the small time investers who withdrew and have no clue of when to put it back.

even the people who pull out early loose some value, every time the fed prints more $ or lowers interest rates we loose frn value. 0 -
Yep.
When the market is like it is right now is when I when I smile and invest.
The market is creating a vacuum and all the money that was taken will get sucked right back in and I will ride it to the top[^]0 -

If you are a day trader, have at it, you can double, triple, quadruple your money in the next few months. If you aren't, you can kiss at least 10% of it or more goodbye. The market has changed to a bear market, it will sit like this until the next election is my guess.0 -
Very few in the Mutual fund markets have made money unless they have control of their money and make their own trades. I was in a growth fund and exited it to a money market fund two days after the first fall. I lost 4% valuation in those two days. Yet my fund fell another 9% while I was in cash. Yesterday I bought back in, so I got an additional 9% of shares for the same money I started with before this whole fiasco. I was up 8% for the year when I retracted. + 17% YTD isn't too bad and we still have 4 months to go. 0 -
Bears make money. Bulls make money. Piggies do not make money. Don't be a piggy. 0 -
I'm in for the long haul.
Haven't sold anything.
Let me know when it gets down to 11,000.
I'll buy something then.0 -

I would let you know but I don't watch it that close.
I just buy and know that when the market dips I buy low and ride it back up.
