worn out
anyone ever really really worn out a gun? specifically an AK, ive seen so many pictures of AK's overseas that have no finish left, obviously used hard for many years. But none of my AK's look like that, and ive torture tested one pretty severe, i guess its just time and exposure. I was just curious if anybody has pics of guns that they have really worn out, or torture test pics, its always interesting to see how much they really can take.

Not an AK, but I've an old Marlin 66 that has seen better days.
Although sporting a nice camo paint job, it just don't group as well
as it once did. Just hangs on the rack these days to bring memories
of the many, many shots it's made.[:)][:)]0 -
I`ve got an old single shot 22 that was my dads when he was a boy.He shot the heck out of it and I finished it off. I`ll never part with it,but it`s too worn to shoot safely. 0 -
i think you can wear an ak down, but it will still fire until the bolt breaks, or the gas piston breaks or something breaks. 0 -
I have an old winchester 220 swift that you can drop a .22 cal bullet all the way down the barrel. Gun looks good but the barrel is shot. 0 -
I used to have a Charter Arms Bulldog 44 spl and handloaded hundreds of Hot Loads to cycle through it.\.
When I sold it it was basically shot out and the pins were slopped but it would still shot. I couldn't stand shooting a revolver that was so slopped out.0
