postal match -military rifle who is in?LOKO, NOIZE

10 pts for bull, 8, 6 , 4, 2 for hitting paper. broken line recieves higher score

for monday the 23rd July
above target
10 rounds @ 100 yds all classes
all prone unsupported, stock iron sights only(no scopes, rests , bipods or target sights)

1. SKS any origion
2. WWII style rifle or before any origion (ones made after the war but same type ok ie any Garand, mauser, enfield, m91)
3. open iron sighted military service rifle (any ie AR, m14 type, FAL)

All you need is 30 rds, of mostly cheep ammo. you can enter 1 or all classes.
Should be fun-T

    Am I right in an AR is good for the option 3?

    I will shoot my SKS, Nagant 91/30 (Thanks to git r done[;)]) and an AR15.

    So are we printing it at 150%?

    I'd rather shoot it offhand. That type of shooting sperates the men from the..... well, let me say; "not so much men"

    LOCO383; you can come to my range and shoot if you would like to. I can give you directions and it's about 18 miles from tractor supply.

    i really did intend to enter into the last postal match (that i had suggested) but we were stll moving between two houses. Now that were into our new house, and ill be starting a new job soon, i still dont hink ill be able to get to the range. I wish i could go every week. the indoor range is less than mile from my new house[}:)][:(!][V]

    So, Military.....wonder if my A.I. counts? I think I still have some peep sights I can stick on there.....otherwise it's an SKS/Carcano/M-1 carbine match!

    How are we doing this, mailing in the targets or sending scans to you? I will be shooting not this weekend, but the following, the 21/22nd. I could have them in the mail by the 23rd... but not to you.

    here's my AR-15 target, 100 yds w/this target is no fun [:(] w/iron sites, I'm out w/ the SKS,and the M1A I took my scope off for this group [:I],[embarr...assed] Loko[:D]

    sorry man, my parents had their 50th wedding aniversary this past weekend, I didn't get to shoot till late sunday [4:30 ish]and we have a new camera to boot, blah blah blah [lol] yea I know NO EXCUSES,[:o)] Loko[;)][:D]

    Your target looks pretty good!

    better than mine, i acctually shot better with Co witness open sights than I with the Eotech, i shot several groups over several days and that was the best i could do.

    LOKO did you use factory ammo or reloads?

    military, ss109 62gr, they are not reloads, my colts twist is 1:7 seems to group best [w scope [:o)]] w/these rounds, I will be putting the scope back on tomarrow....Loko[;)] btw.. looks like I used the wrong target [:(]

    I went to the range last Monday fully intending to shoot a round from the sks, 91/30, and AR.
    I got to the range and realized I left both magazines for the AR laying on my table back at home.
    The 91/30 has chamber problems and is almost impossible to extract the spent shell, and the SKS group was to sorry for me to post.
    I am going to try and get back out there with the AR.
    I know that can print a decent group[8D]
