barrel choice
Hey need you guys opinion I am building my next mauser project and wanted to know should I use a adams and bennett or er shaw barrel? I have shot shaw barrels and they are real good if installed right. Adams and bennett are cheaper but how do they hold up? I have had douglas barrels but there quality has went south on there barrels and shilen barrels are nice but alittle pricey. Ok give me your 2 cents worth.

I have a Shilen in 30.06 for the Turks, in the white and short chambered. It has never been mounted on a receiver $100 if you are interested I will put it up for auction. 0 -
Are the turk actions small ring? I have a k98 action for my build and not sure if the rings are the same. 0 -
The Turks have a large ring with a small thread. I also have a very nice action* with commercial, bent bolt, speedlock mainspring and firing pin, and an after market bolt shroud and floor plate and trigger guard. All of these items (except the receiver) are new/never installed.
*no pits, in the white, polished. Of course it will require an 01 or 03 FFL for transfer.
All for a starting price of $200.0 -
