laminate countertop???

What can I use to cut laminate?Is there a special blade? I have seen it cut before and they just put painters tape along the cut.

  Use a straight edge and laminate scoring knife.
  To flush it up to the counter edge you will need a router and to get it close to the walls use a end scorer.
  I still have all my professional laminate tools from when thats what I did for a living.
