Nyquil
HELP. I am sick as hell.Had my loving wife go to walgreens for some nyquil. Dying for relief, but the directions say take 2 tbsp. and the damn cup says 30ml,20ml,15ml,10ml,5ml. Can anyone tell how many mls. in 2 tbsps.? I know I could get up and go get a darn tablespoon but the I would miss out on all the good(and not so good) conversations.

Is Nyquil as potent as it used to be? I have a bad head cold and cough and usually when I take it it twists my head around as though I had drunk a shot of alcohol. Not the stuff I took tonight, this was nothing. Hope is does the job. 0 -
might be that they watered it down due to the latest 'robotripping' fad.

It used to have about 20% alcohol and some phun pharms in it, but nowadays every drug company is worried about ephedra bans and product placement, so they lose the ephedra or go behind the counter.0 -
Nyquil has been my #1 choice for years but the las time I used it didn't help. I wonder if they have changed the formula. 0 -

The Tylenol commercial I just watched the other night for their new cold/cough/ache liquid states that Nyquil has removed one important ingredient implying that it's not as effective as Tylenol's.. 0 -
the expectorant has been removed. That speeds oxygen into your blood as the congestion is broken up,..thus that wonderful "euphoric" feeling you used to get. I notice it is not as good,..but it still breaks that crap in your head loose before bed time so you can at least fall asleep. 0 -

My dad says it used to have codeine in it. Once they dropped that, not worth squat. In the navy they would give sick sailors pure codine. Worked great.
I always take my nyquil with a shot of warm liquor. Helps a lot. Schnapps is best.0 -

I had some that was about 5 years old and I took it, it knocked me out in about 10 minutes. Woke up the next morning and didn't have any kind of a cold left. Maybe just get some and age it for a few years. 0 -
I called the old formula "Nyt-mare", because it used to give me wierd and sometimes scary dreams.
Felt better the next morning, though....0 -
When I was a kid under the age of ten years old we were poor, )I didn't know it at the time), I can remember my Mom making her own nyquil useing a mixture of Rum/Honey/Lemon juice and that stuff would nock me right out no matter how sick I was. 0 -
