  and at the same time feel for the kid...
  before it got poofed(?) i had asked about others experience on wait time hearing from sellers.
  all worked out but it is funny.
  i acted as bidder for a friend of the family who doesnt have internet.
  he saw a mossberg mariner and said "THATS EXACTLY WHAT IM LOOKING FOR!"
  after stareing at it for half an hour, looking at a few other items, back to the mossberg...
  "can you make a bid on it for me?"
  me "sure, what do you want to make your top bid?"
  "$75"
  me "huh!?!?"
  looked at the top of the page, pic of the mariner for sure, opening bid $70.99 told him that doesnt seem right, should be a LOT higher than that, but figured wth and made the bid.
  finally got word from the seller and no request for ffl!?
  e-mail back, "are you sure this can be shipped direct?"
  "yes, just give us the physical address for fed-ex"
  went back and looked CLOSELY at the ENTIRE sale page...
  "MOSSBERG MARINE TOP FOLDING STOCK...FITS MOD...
  should have seen his face when i told him he f*d up!
  says he has a mossberg that it will fit, how much to do the work for him and can i get...lol
