Do you ever lose guns in your house?
I have been looking for my S&W Bodygaurd for 3 days now and can't find it[B)]
It has a crimson trace grip on it and I wanted to see if mine pointed righ at me when I held it[:D][:0]

Most of mine stay in the safe with the exception of my SIG P-229 Duty weapon and my private owned SIG P-229 .357sig. My wife has her PT92AFS in a place she always leaves it, and of course I have a shotgun set beside my lazy boy sitting between two tables to hide it and keep my nephews from being able to get it. 0 -

I haven't lost any guns....but I am really bad to forget what all I have. We have all of our guns in one place.....every once in a while I go through and see things I forget we have. I need to keep a list somewhere other than here (maybe at work) of all of our guns just in case something happens and I need a list. 0 -
I traded one off once and forgot. Got to looking for it (you'd have to see my house) and finally remembered that I didn't have it any more. What do they call it? Early onset Alzheimers? 0 -
never had that problem, with little kids around i keep them locked up pretty tight. they know what they are and understand what there for and know that they cant touch them but i figure why temp them by keeping them where they could get to them. 0 -

I had brought a friends S & W .45 home to sell for him, and did not throw it in a safe immediately; then when I thought about it I couldn't find the damn thing. First and LAST gun I ever missplaced...and yes I did find it...[^]0 -

I have small kids as well (7 & 10). But my kids have been taught and niether of them will go in my room unless I am in it. All the guns are kept in my room (including thier guns).
Also my kids have been around them enuff that a gun has no real curiosity value in it!
It is all a matter of how they are raised![;)]
Couldn't have said it better myself. I like how you think. My kids since they were toddlers have known that daddy owns and carries guns, and what guns are. I have never hid them from my kids. In fact, I have used every question as a teaching chance to make them understand that a gun is a TOOL, not a mysterious, scary, violent thing that should be regarded with much fear. It's funny what the liberals and gun-haters would have us believe. I have never had a problem with them attempting to play with them or even touch them without my absolute supervision. I have a loaded handgun on my nightstand, have since I can remember, and not a single problem. It's all in how you raise your kids.

I found it right where I thought it was and actually in the first place I looked.
I just didn't look good enough the first time.0
