looks like that center hole is warbled out and the hammer is pinging the chambers

Both look like the same cylinder to me.the holes have nicks on the outer edges,and the teeth in the center of the bottom one are worn.[^]
Must be a "rimfire" cyl.

Yep.
Looks like someone let a kid play cap gun with a rimfire revolver[V][:(!]
These are the magnum and lr 22 cylinders from the same revolver.

They are so bad they can't be loaded. Nothing a 224 reamer cant fix though[;)]
