    The Colt is a LAWMAN, NOT a Trooper. Two different models altogether.

    Yep, and lots of people know the Trooper but don't know the Lawman. If I had a Colt Peacekeeper on auction I would also list it as a cheap Python. Marketing ploy.

    BTW are they the same frame Not really familiar with either!!!

    My very first Colt was a Lawman...back in the early '70's. Sold it, and regret it. Have a Python now for close to 20 years. Recently acquired a Trooper Mk III and more recently traded it away. Like them Colts, for sure, but the Python will be THE keeper.[^]
